Chris and Bruce led a team that converted our home 8 years ago to natural gas. In that process they installed new forced air furnace, a hot water heat pump and a new whole house AC unit. They have maintained them in top notch performance ever since. We recently had a minor leak in the hot water heater that Chris found in an annual HVAC system check. He replaced it under warranty in a week. I recommend them NES without reservation. Also, nice people, good listeners, keep a neat jobsite and professional crew.

Chris is incredibly knowledgable and fantastic to to work with. He not only serviced a boiler as planned but also did a last minute fix to an outdoor spigot right as the weather was getting cold (Which meant running out to the store to buy a part when the valve broke off!). Highly recommended!

Literally the best. Chris and crew are knowledgeable, responsive, and do great work. He serviced my oil boiler for years and recently assisted me with a radiant retrofit and putting in a gas boiler. Looking forward to adding a heat pump next year to feed the radiant heat.

Chris and team are a dream to work with, very professional and fairly priced. They did a efficient, fast, and tidy job of replacing our dying boiler with a new high efficiency boiler and heat pump hot water heater. I really appreciate that Chris recommended a high quality and high efficiency setup, which was important to me. We also have them do ongoing yearly maintenance. It was a no brainer for us to hire these folks to do our heat pump A/C install too, I didn’t even bother getting another quote. They were able to get a perfect setup installed in a time frame I didn’t know was possible (so fast)! They also make the process of working with Efficiency Maine easy breezy. Highly recommend.

Chris is friendly, responsive, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. His pricing is also very competitive in the Southern Maine area, and therefore if you are looking at converting to natural gas, you should definitely consider Chris Cote and New Energy Solutions in your list of vendors for review. He really knows his stuff!

I had called for estimate on a new heating system, Chris came by to give it a look and gave my wife and I a few different options. We decided to go with a cold start boiler and indirect hot water tank. Chris and Bruce were SUPER prompt and very professional with their work. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NES to anyone and everyone in need of plumbing or heating services!!!

Chris and team did a fantastic job! We were in a pinch with no heat and the temps starting to drop. We called around and couldn't get anybody to come and take a look in such a busy season. NES made it happen. Gave me a price off of some basic info I provided via email, confirmed with a quick in person consult and moved work around to install the very next day! Even offered up an electric heater to get us through a cold night. We got an honest and fair price and will have Chris and team handling our work going forward.
